e3 – 12u = 0.4u ... How to solve this equation to find u?
3-12u = log(0.4) + log(u)3 - log(0.4) = 12u + log(u)2.08371 = 12u + log(u)Now we can draw the curve for the Right Hand Side and find out that at u = 0.27975, this equation holds good and hence solved.But I think there is some small mistake in the answer, I will verify it again but procedure is correct I think.what do u say frds?

ReplyDelete3 - log(0.4) = 12u + log(u)
2.08371 = 12u + log(u)
Now we can draw the curve for the Right Hand Side and find out that at u = 0.27975, this equation holds good and hence solved.
But I think there is some small mistake in the answer, I will verify it again but procedure is correct I think.
